This 7 days Morocco itinerary is intended for a week-long visit to Morocco, traveling from Casablanca to Marrakech via the Merzouga Sahara Desert. This 7 day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech will take you to some of the most popular cities in Morocco, including the Merzouga desert and the imperial cities of Fes and Marrakech.
Our driver for your 7 days Morocco desert tour will pick you up at the airport or at your Casablanca hotel. After touring the city’s greatest feature, the Hassan II Mosque, we head towards Chefchaouen. After that, we went to other fascinating places in Rabat, like the Oudayas Kasbah, the Hassan Tower, and the Royal Palace. You will also stop by the major locations along your route. After that, we carry on to Chefchaouen. Spend the night in a Chefchaouen hotel or riad.
Today is devoted to exploring the major sights in Chefchaouen. The most well-known tourist destination in Morocco, Chefchaouen, is a beautiful town that you can visit after breakfast at your place of accommodation. The blue paint that is painting the Medina’s walls in various shades of blue is Chefchaouen’s most distinctive characteristic. Following your entrance into the Chefchaouen Medina, you should ascend to the “Ras El Maa Waterfall,” a well-known water source perched atop a mountain from where you can view the majority of the city and learn about its hilly landscape.
Along the route to the summit, you will pass by the following monuments and significant structures, such as Place “Outa El Hamam,” a tranquil square flanked by eateries and cafes.
See the 18th-century “Kasbah” in the plaza; it’s a beautifully preserved walled fortification with a beautiful garden overlooking Chefchaouen. That being said, a visit to the 15th-century “Grand Spanish Mosque” would be incomplete. Be in Chefchaouen for the night.
Chefchaouen is left behind as you begin your journey toward Fes after breakfast at your guesthouse. As of right now, Ouazzane is on the itinerary. As we go, we’ll stop in Volubilis, the oldest Roman settlement south of Morocco, where you can see the splendor of the Roman Empire and take in the exquisite mosaics found in the abandoned homes.
We’ll then travel via Meknes city and wander through Medina and El Hedim square. After lunch in Meknes, we will tour all the noteworthy locations in the city, such as the largest gate in Morocco, Bab El Mansour, and the Mausoleum Moulay Ismail. You will spend the night at a hotel or riad in the imperial city of Fes, where we will continue our journey later.
Today is devoted to exploring the world’s oldest cultural and spiritual city, Fes, and its significant landmarks. Moulay Idriss II founded the city around 790 A.C. accompanied by a guide from the area.
The first university in the world, Al-Qarawiyyin University, Bou Inania Madrasa (theological colleges), the Jewish District (Millah), plazas, local Andaulisians and potters, museums, Souks (traditional markets), the breathtaking Tanneries, and Bab Boujloud are just a few of the fascinating landmarks and sites in Fez.
We are going to have lunch in the ancient Medina at a traditional Moroccan restaurant. Additionally, Fez is Morocco’s hub for artisans. A quick visit to the well-known ceramic factory is included in your full-day tour of Fes. Following that, you can take in a stunning aerial perspective over the entire Fes Medina. We return you to your hotel or riad by car after the tour. Staying overnight in Fes.
Once we have breakfast at your Fes lodging, we depart southeast, passing via the Swiss city of Ifrane and the largest ape-inhabited woods in Morocco, the Cedar Forest in Azrou. This will be our second stop after Ifrane. Then we’re going to make a lunch stop in Midelt. After continuing to cross Tizi N’Taghamt and travel through the breathtaking Ziz valley/gorge, our 7-day Morocco itinerary will pause to give you a broad overview of the valley.
Our adventure to the Merzouga desert continues later. After leaving your bags at our guest house, you will begin your camel trekking adventure over Erg Chebbi’s golden sand dunes. From the top of a high dune, you will be able to witness the stunning sunset. Afterward, we will return to your desert camp, where you will spend the night. Following a delectable meal, enjoy some Berber music performed under the stars by local nomads. If you’re like dancing, you may also dance to the sounds of the barbarian music.
You’ll get up early today to see an amazing sunrise over the breathtaking Erg Chebbi sand dunes. After that, you’ll ride a camel back to your Merzouga lodging, where you may shower and eat a hearty breakfast. Then, we travel to Rissani to see its historic market, which is thought to be the biggest in all of Southern Morocco.
Following that, we’ll head to Morocco’s highest and narrowest gorge, the Todra Gorges, where we’ll have a leisurely stroll down its stunning canyon and have lunch at a restaurant with a view of the valley below. The magnificent sand castles and the incredible rock formations known as “monkey toes” may be seen in Dades Valley, where we’ll be going after lunch. We’ll spend the night at a hotel or riad with a view of the breathtaking Dades Valley.
Finally, we will depart Dades Gorges in the direction of Marrakech on the final day of our 7 days tour from Casablanca. Nevertheless, you will make the most of Dades Valley before traveling to Marrakech.
Next, You will be driving along the “Road of Thousand Kasbahs,” stopping along the way to visit Kalaat M’Gouna or the “Valley of Roses.” This is an amazing location where you can buy rose-related things, and in May there is an annual rose festival. We keep going to the Amridil Kasbah in Skoura.
After that, you’ll go to the Ouarzazate cinema studio, where a number of well-known films were filmed. It is referred to as Hollywood of Africa or Atlas Studio. See the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, which served as a caravan stop in the past and is currently the location of numerous international film shoots.
Lunch will be served in a restaurant with a view of the Kasbah. This year, we went to the Moroccan desert with My Marrakech Desert Tours and had a fantastic experience! Everything about the trip—the assistance with booking, the suggested routes, the affordable prices, and the actual travel—was excellent. Along the route, we witnessed a ton of breathtaking sights, amazing landscapes, delectable meals,… Youssef was a wealth of fascinating knowledge, and we had a great day discovering Berber customs. The Sahara was an unforgettable experience. We heartily endorse doing this tour!
Everything went perfectly on the “7 days desert tour from Casablanca” that we had booked. During our vacation, our guide Said took excellent care of us, picking us up at our hotel at the scheduled time of 8:00. Said, our knowledgeable driver, went above and above to ensure our time in the desert was enjoyable. He was also very kind. His help allowed us to avoid the other overly touristic excursions and have some time alone ourselves on the dunes, perfecting our sandboarding skills and taking stunning sunset photos. very reasonable costs! With your eyes closed, you are welcome to journey there!
