We will pick you up from your hotel or riad to start our 3 Day Merzouga Desert Tour from Ouarzazate. Take a trip to Morocco’s Hollywood, stopping at Taourirt, the Kasbah, and the Atlas Film Studios. We’ll also drive the Anti Atlas route to Zagora, passing via the well-known Agdez village. Admire the Deraa oasis’ shimmering hues. After eating lunch at a Berber eatery, travel on to Zagora. This high-altitude capital, known as “The Desert gate,” is situated on a barren plateau to the south of the Himalayas. After arriving at the bivouac late in the afternoon, take a ride on a camel to witness the breathtaking desert sunset.
The amazing Erg Chebbi desert dunes in Merzouga are our destination on the second day of our 3-day desert excursion from Ouarzazate to Merzouga. Take pleasure in exploring the tiny towns and arid scenery. We will dine at Alnif village before continuing on to the Merzouga desert via the Draa valley, Taghbalt, Rissani, and so on. When you reach the top Erg Chebbi dunes and take in the sunset, a camel trekking adventure awaits you. A great dinner and lively singing by the Berbers will greet you when you arrive at Erg Chebbi Camp for the night.
Get up early to witness the magnificent dawn, when the dunes’ hues and the way the shadows move are breathtaking sights. We will go to Ouarzazate via Erfoud, which is well-known for its fossilized marbles. There, you will be able to see the workshop where these fossils are created. Proceed to the Todra Gorges, a fantastic location for independent exploration and strolling. After lunch, go via Kelaa Mgouna, the town known for its roses. This marks the end of our 3 day vacation from Ouarzazate to Merzouga Desert and Zagora. We continue along the Road of a Thousand-Kasbahs, passing the Skoura palm grove, until we arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and check into the hotel or riad.
