Our expert driver will take you up from your lodging, the airport, and the train station on the first day of your Casablanca desert tour so you can begin your exploration. We’ll take a car to see one of the most significant cities, Morocco’s financial center. Throughout the day, we will be touring Casablanca City’s important locations and landmarks. The Hassan II Mosque, which is situated directly in front of the azure Mediterranean, is the first sight one behold upon visiting Casablanca. Among the largest mosques in the world is the Hassan II Mosque. It’s the largest in Africa as well, and its unique, exquisite architecture will surprise you.
We would also show you around the Habous Market and Quarter, the Coastal Corniche in Casablanca, and, of course, we would treat you to a delicious lunch of seafood from Casablanca on this 12-day Morocco itinerary. We will take you on a tour of Rabat, the Moroccan capital, following breakfast. After that, we’ll be traveling to Chefchaouen, which is in the center of Morocco. We will travel to Fes, the intellectual center of Morocco and one of the oldest cities if not the oldest, after breakfast. The journey today will take you to an Imperial City. The Sahrij Souani Bassin, the Mulay Ismail Mausoleum, and the renowned Bab Mansour gate are located in Morocco, which is also referred to as “Meknes,” the Ismaili capital of Morocco. Following lunch, we’ll visit the Roman city of Volubilis, which is home to the remnants of the Romanian Empire. Here, you can view the beautifully preserved original structures from long ago, as well as the Roman road and city plan. We’ll stop by the revered City of Moulay Idriss our route across the Moroccan countryside to capture some priceless photos. We will arrive in Fes late at evening, where we will have a traditional dinner and stay the night in your opulent hotel or riad.

Our incredible 12 days tour from Casablanca and heads southeast through Ifrane, known to Moroccans as “the little Switzerland of Morocco.” We’ll go on to the Cedar Forest in Azrou for a quick walk and, if we’re lucky, to take some photos with the Barbarian apes before heading to Midelt, where we’ll stop for lunch at a restaurant (about 12 hours total).
After that, we will travel through the striking Middle Atlas Mountains and take in the distinctive landscape until we arrive to the Ziz Valley, which is home to Morocco’s second-longest river. Here, we will pause to take in the breathtaking panoramic view that features thousands of palm palms.We will travel through Erfoud, the final town before the desert, which is well-known for its annual palm dates and fossils. Following breakfast at the hotel, we will head out on a 4×4 adventure in the Merzouga desert to discover all the remarkable locations surrounding the Erg Chebbi dunes. These include the serene Oasis of Hassi Labied, with its historic irrigation canal system, and the seasonal Dayt Srij lake (assuming it has water). After that, we travel through Berber villages to arrive at Khamlia. There, we can choose to make an optional stop at one of the village’s associations to listen to the locals perform Gnawa music, which is a genre of music traditionally associated with people of color from different African nations.
We will next proceed to Mifis, a small, deserted military settlement famous for its mines and minerals. We’ll continue our journey to see a Berber nomad family who is still living in the middle of nowhere under a tent; during our visit, we’ll stop for a drink of tea and discover more about their way of life. Additionally, we’ll stop at several locations to take pictures and appreciate the expansive vistas. After lunch at a nearby restaurant, we’ll make our way back to the village.
After a brief break, you will begin your hour-long camel ride to the camp, where you will have the chance to take in the Saharan scenery, snap photos, and watch the sun set over the sand dunes. The camel trek continues to the Berber camp, where you will be welcomed by our staff, served tea, and shown to your tent. Free time to unwind till evening, enjoy a delectable meal, then gather around the campfire in the Sahara desert beneath the starry sky to listen to some traditional Berber drumming music. It is strongly advised that you rise early today in order to witness the breathtaking desert sunrise, take pictures, and enjoy a delectable breakfast and camp shower following these truly unique experiences. Once more, you will embark on a camel trip to return to your starting point. Alternatively, we can transport you there using a 4×4 vehicle. If we are fortunate enough to be in Rissani on Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday—the days of the weekly market—you will go there to enjoy the town’s traditional market after meeting your driver.
Our next destination is the Todra Valley and Gorge, which lies at the base of the High Atlas Mountains. This gorge is renowned for its narrow canyons and is regarded as one of Morocco’s most beautiful. Rock climbers love to visit this area, and we will stroll through it to enjoy the view and take pictures.Lunch break will be on our own.
We depart for Boumalne after lunch, passing via Dades Valley and stopping along the way to take in the scenery and the rock structure known as the monkeys’ toes. Finally, we reach our magnificent hotel with a valley view. Spend the night in the hotel
Following your hotel breakfast, we will head across the Dades Valley in the direction of Ouarzazate and Kalaa Mgouna. We’ll be passing thousands of Kasbahs en route to Dades Valley so that we may snap some very remarkable photos. After getting to know the Berber Nomads in their caves, we will visit the lush Rose Valley and its surrounding rock formations. We are going to pause at “the rose city,” Kalaat M’gouna. We will visit the Kasbah Amridil as we continue our desert trips from Casablanca to Skoura and the Birds’ Valley. We’ll then take a head toward OUARZAZATE.
With our Morocco 12 day itinerary, we will begin by discovering every historical and natural aspect of Ouarzazate, the historic city that was established in 1928 and grew to become one of the most significant film studios in the world. A movie studio that created massive motion pictures and television shows, like the hit shows Gladiator and Babel and Game of Thrones. After lunch at a neighborhood eatery in the Berber settlement of Telouet, we’ll ride the Tizi-n-Tichka down to Marrakech. Your Marrakech city trip will begin with a local guide after breakfast at the hotel. The most fascinating sights to see in Marrakech, also known as the “red city,” are the Koutoubia mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadien’s tombs, Madrasa ben Youssef, and Majorelle Gardens. This morning, we will depart Marrakech and go to the historic Portuguese city of Essaouira after breakfast at your lodging. To learn more about the process of producing Argan oil, you can visit the women-run Argan factory. Enjoy a lunch of delicious seafood in the Medina and explore the port of the coastal resort town of Essaouira. After enjoying your evening meal and spending the night in a riad or hotel in Essaouira, you will have free time for leisure and independent exploration in the day. You can swim and unwind on the beach.
Today, while taking in the breathtaking scenery, we will depart from Essaouira and travel down the coast route to Casablanca, “the commercial center of Morocco.” Drive to Oualidia after crossing the Safi, where you may savor delectable seafood in this lovely location. We will travel to Casablanca city after having lunch on break, stopping at El Jadida (formerly known as Mazagan). The Portuguese founded this ancient Medina in 1513. Our Morocco vacation from Casablanca comes to a close when we arrive in the early evening.
