itinerary for an 8 days desert tour from Casablanca. Throughout these eight days and seven nights, you will see a ton of amazing locations. Tour the city of Casablanca first. Next are the blue city of Chefchaouen and the Moroccan capital, Rabat. additionally the Volubilis Roman Ruins. In addition, you will travel to the cultural center of Fes, the capital of the Ismailis, Meknes, and Ifrane, Morocco’s Switzerland. After that, we head south and stop at the Rissani traditional market, Midelt, the breathtaking Ziz Valley, and the cedar forest.
After being picked up at the Casablanca airport, you will drive through beautiful views of the Moroccan countryside as you make your way to the city. We pause to see Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Africa, which is the only mosque open to non-Muslims after. For our first night, we proceed in the direction of Rabat, the capital.
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the Riad on our second day, we explore the stunning Mohammed V Mausoleum in Rabat, which is embellished with white marble and stained glass windows. We proceed to Hassan Tower, perched atop a hill with a commanding view over Wadi Bou Regreg. Continue your tour of the Oudaïa Kasbah, which Moulay Isma̯l constructed between 1672 and 1727 to fortify the city, which is surrounded by defenses that date back to the Almohad era. The journey continues to Chefchaouen, which is well-known for its vibrant blue-rinsed houses and is a favorite destination for both visitors and Moroccans, especially during the sweltering summer. Feel free to explore the stunning lanes of Chefchaouen, the blue city, after breakfast. After that, we take a car to Volubilis to see the historic Roman ruins. Given that UNESCO has designated it as a World Heritage Site, it has been kept in good condition. It contains old pillars and arches strewn throughout, as well as numerous exquisite mosaics. We drive 30 miles to explore the city of Meknes after taking a stroll among the ruins. The city is regarded as the seat of the Ismailis and as one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stable, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum are among the places we visit. We then travel to Fes. Spend the night at a riad.

And lastly, the oldest university in the world, the Quaraouin mosque and university. Following that, we depart from Medina to explore “the Mellah,” the Jewish neighborhood. We take a drive to an old fortification in the afternoon to get a broad perspective of Fes and the Medina. Lastly, head back to your riad.
We leave the Riad early in the morning to begin our desert excursion towards the Sahara, passing close to the Ifran national park, sometimes known as “the Switzerland of Morocco.” We’re going to take a pause to appreciate its beauty and take some special pictures. Proceed in the direction of Azrou in order to witness the Barbary Apes monkeys in the cedar forest. going on to a restaurant in Midelt for lunch.
In the afternoon, we will traverse the Tizi N Telghomt pass to arrive in Errachidia, all the while taking in the breathtaking vistas of the Ziz Gorges, which present fantastic photo ops. Later on, we’ll pause to get a broad perspective of Ziz Valley. The journey to Erg Chebbi Dunes continues, passing by the fossil capital cities of Aoufous and Erfoud. We will then proceed to Erg Chebbi’s fascinating dunes. After checking into the hotel, prepare for an hour and a half of camel riding to see the sunset. Dinner and overnight at a luxurious camp.
Morocco’s Sahara desert delivers breathtaking sunrises if you get up early enough. Then, as the sun begins to rise, you will leisurely ride the camels back to the dunes’ edge to enjoy the beautiful Erg Chebbi dunes’ distinct beauty. We will head toward the tallest and narrowest gorges in Morocco, the Todra Gorges, which are well-known as a major destination for rock climbers. Before heading to Dades Valley for dinner and lodging, we can go for a stroll.
We begin our day with a brief excursion to Dades Gorges, which is named for the various rock formations of the mountain in the Dades valley. To get to the Valley of the Roses, we keep going via the route that is home to thousands of Kasbahs. When the roses blossom in April and May, the Vally is usually breathtaking. After passing through Ouarzazate City, we arrive at Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, the best-restored ksar in the south and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 45-minute visit to the Ait Ben Haddou site will involve a walking tour. We pause in one of the terraces to eat lunch.
We go to Marrakech by traversing the High Atlas mountain range via the 2260-meter-high Tizi N Tichka Pass, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding tiny valleys and Berber towns. traveling in a riad and arriving in Marrakech late at night.
