This 4 days from Ouarzazate to Merzouga desert tour begins with a visit to the Ait ben Haddou Unesco World Heritage Site, followed by a visit to one of the most well-known Kasbahs, Amridil, and a trek through the Valley of Roses to Dades Gorges. Experience camel rides, desert camps, and Berber music as you tour the Sahara desert in southern Morocco, which is close to the border between Algeria and Morocco. You will also get to know the Berber traditions, cuisine, and attire.
Starting from your hotel or riad, we will pick you up for our 4 days private desert to the Merzouga from Ouarzazate. Explore Taourirt, the Kasbah, and the film Atlas Studios as part of a trip of Morocco’s Hollywood. We’ll also travel the Anti Atlas road to Zagora, passing via the well-known Agdez village. Take in Deraa Oasis’s glittering hues. Proceed to Zagora after eating lunch at a Berber eatery. A barren plateau to the south of the mountains is home to the high-altitude capital known as “The Desert gate.” Enjoy a camel ride after arriving at the bivouac in the late afternoon to witness the breathtaking desert sunset. Then, take part in dinner around the fire and enjoy nomadic songs and drum rhythms. Spend a magical night in a traditional tent to complete your desert experience.
On the second day of our 4-day desert tour from Ouarzazate to Merzouga, we will leave Zagora and go for the amazing Erg Chebbi desert dunes in Merzouga. Take pleasure in exploring the tiny towns and arid vistas. We’ll make a lunch stop in Alnif hamlet before continuing on to the Merzouga desert via the Draa valley, Taghbalt, and Rissani. Enjoy the sunset while embarking on a camel trekking journey to reach the highest point of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Get ready to spend the night at Erg Chebbi Camp, where you will be greeted with a great dinner and music by the Berbers.
Following breakfast, you will traverse a significant portion of the dunes, passing by the two Merzouga oases, the wandering deposit, the Gnaoua village of Khamlia, the MIFISS mines, the desert plates where the Berber nomads of the desert converge, and the oasis TISSARDMINE before arriving back at the hotel.
To witness the breathtaking sunrise, which features amazing views of the dunes’ color and the movement of shadows, get up early. We’ll travel on to Ouarzazate via Erfoud, which is well-known for its petrified marbles. There, you may see the workshop that creates the fossilized marbles. Proceed towards the Todra Gorges, a fantastic location for independent exploration and strolling. Eat lunch, then proceed to travel via Kelaa Mgouna, the town of roses. After crossing the Skoura palm grove and traveling the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, we finally arrive in Ouarzazate, sometimes known as “Hollywood of Morocco,” where we settle into a hotel or riad. This concludes our 4-day private tour that took us from Ouarzazate to Merzouga Desert and Zagora.

I traveled with Youssef for four days with my family. He went above and above the call of duty and was an excellent driver and guide. He saw to it that we had all our requirements taken care of and were comfortable the entire time.
It was good to see someone who was patriotic since he knew a great deal about so many different towns and structures. We never felt pushed to do anything we didn’t want to do, and their advice were always excellent. Since this was my first vacation to Morocco, I can genuinely state that it exceeded all of my expectations and that I cannot recommend it highly enough.
From Ouarzazate to Merzouga, we had an incredible 4 days.
