You’ll travel through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping briefly in Ifrane, which was named the second cleanest city in the world in 2015. Because of its distinctive architecture, Ifrane is sometimes referred to as Morocco’s Switzerland.
There will be an additional location where you may snap photos and possibly even get a chance to see or feed the critically endangered Barbary Apes that live in this woodland. Proceed on the path even farther south, passing through the apple-producing city of Midelt. Next, traverse the winding High Atlas Mountains to the palm-tree-filled Ziz Valley, Erfoud, before arriving at the enormous golden sand dunes of Erg Echabbi

Day 2:Merzouga and Desert Camp

Discover the neighboring areas of Merzouga and lose yourself in the splendors of the desert. Admire the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes and interact with the nomadic people in this special area of contact. Highlights include a trip to Khamlia’s countryside and lunch at Rissani, where you may enjoy authentic Berber pizza. Enjoy the wonders of a camel ride in the afternoon, which ends with a captivating desert sunset. Stay overnight in a desert camp with surprises in store. The experience is made even more poignant by the moon rising over the Sahara.

There are no enough words to express how breathtaking the Sahara desert is, so for my friends and I, the 6-day excursion from Fez was a spectacular experience. Despite being a lengthy journey to the Sahara desert, the tour was incredibly convenient, and the tour guides were very helpful. Enjoyable Moroccan music, entertaining puzzles, and a superb dinner made for a wonderful overnight stay at the camp. Even though we were the only group in the camp, the staff made a special effort to make us feel welcome and entertained.
