Here, you can stop for a quick fifteen minutes and maybe have a cup of coffee. From there, continue on to the Middle Atlas Mountains and the cedar forest of Azrou. You will be able to watch the Barbary monkeys from here.

Travel through the Ziz Valley, a valley lined with palm trees, and Midelt to reach Merzouga. When you get to Merzouga in the afternoon, stay in a lovely riad with a view of the town’s surrounding golden sand dunes.

Day 2:Explore Merzouga desert

Your riad will serve you a delicious breakfast to start your day of adventure in the Merzouga desert. The people who play the distinctive Gnawa music are originally from South Africa, and you may hear them perform it in the little hamlet of Khamlia, where you will be your first stop. The next destination is M’Fis, an abandoned settlement with galena mines—a mineral that was formerly used to produce mascara. You will travel there off-road.

In addition, while sipping tea in one of their traditional Berber tents, you will have the chance to discover more about the nomadic way of life of a family who lives close to the borders behind the Erg Chebbi Dunes. It is fascinating to learn about this ethnic group’s way of life because they have chosen to live apart from civilization in a totally distinct way.

Prepare yourself for an amazing ride on a camel across Merzouga’s tall dunes to your desert tent in the afternoon. While traveling, you’ll pause at a tall dune where you may go sandboarding and take in the breathtaking sunset. Once dinner is served, unwind around a campfire beneath the starry sky while the camp staff plays drums and kindly shows you how to play them. Have a wonderful fantastic night.

Day 3:Merzouga → Todgha Gorges → Dades Valley

It’s strongly recommended to get up early today in order to see a beautiful sunrise. Enjoy a delicious meal at your desert tent after that.

After that, you’ll go to Dades Gorge on an exciting road trip that stops at several locations, including Rissani, Erfoud, Tinghir, and Todra Gorge. In the event that this Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday happens to be a market day in Rissani, you have the option of going to a typical Moroccan market. You will get a peek into the local way of life from this amazing cultural experience. Spices, street cuisine, and indigenous handicrafts that are hard to find elsewhere can be found here.

There are numerous additional opportunities to stop along the route, snap interesting photos, and discover the customs and people of the area.

Travel to Dades Gorge in the afternoon, and check into your hotel. Your hotel room for dinner and the night.

Day 4:Dades valley → Ait ben Haddou → Marrakech

You will have a great breakfast at your hotel before going out and seeing the neighborhood. After that, travel to Ouarzazate via the 1000 Kasbahs Road. Family Traveller

During our four-day tour from Fes to Marrakech, my spouse and I utilized MMDT. From beginning to end, the tour was expertly planned. Our guide was amiable, informed, and aware of the best locations for photos of the various stunning scenery in the nation. My greatest recollections include of course Skoura, the Ait Benhaddou, the Gorges, and the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, where we rode camels, watched the sunset, and slept beneath the stars. The cuisine tasted excellent and was prepared locally. Overall, a fantastic tour that is highly recommended and a wonderful experience that will last a lifetime.
