The 3 day Sahara desert tour from fes begins with an early pickup from the Fes airport or accommodation. Then we head south through Imouzzer to Ifrane, which is renowned for its frigid temperatures, snowfall, and chalet-style homes. It makes sense that this region is known as Morocco’s Switzerland. After that, we go on to the Barbary Macaques’ home, the Cedars Forest. While meandering around the woodland, feel free to feed them. We drive on to Midelt later on, where lunch is served. Next, we go down the Ziz River and the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass on our way to the Sahara desert.
By afternoon, we arrive to Merzouga, in the Sahara desert. The journey over the dusty desert will be on camels now. We’ll make a stop at a tall dune so you can take in the spectacular sunset. Proceed to the luxurious camp in the desert, where you can dance around the campfire to the sounds of Berber drums while gazing up at the wide-open starry sky. Supper and spending the night in the tent
Today, following breakfast, we are going on a trip into the Merzouga Sahara desert, where we will discover the most fascinating desert landscapes. We will start by going to see the Nomads, who continue to have a modest existence beneath tents while caring for sheep, goats, and camels. We’re going to hang out with them and learn about their way of life. We will then head to Mifiss’s plumb mine. We will also visit Khamlia, a small village approximately 5 km from Merzouga, as part of the 4WD Morocco Sahara tour. Discover a different way of life for the Gnaouas, where they have managed to preserve their own customs. You’ll find yourself at a lot of other locations. Some of the notable sights are the museum of 4WD cars, the panoramic view of Galb Nass, and the desert oases. A nearby restaurant will serve lunch.
Enjoy Merzouga camel rides in the afternoon as you go over the Erg Chebbi Dunes to the Sahara desert camp. When you get there, you can enjoy the sunset while sandboarding. Enjoy a glamping experience in the Sahara desert with Berbers, who will serve you dinner and entertain you with drumming around the campfire. Before retiring to bed, take pleasure in observing the sky. Spend the night in a secluded desert tent.
On the final morning of our 3 day Fes to Merzouga desert tour, we will take in the Saharan sunrise from the top of the towering dunes. We then return to our hotel by camelback for a show and breakfast. We proceed to Midelt for lunch, then on to Rissani, Erfoud, Errachidia, and so on. We then continue on to Ifrane, and our three-day private desert tour from Fes to Merzouga comes to a conclusion in Fes.
